On May 1-7, 2006 we traveled to Florida to visit a previous Aiken SC neighbor and spend a few days at Disney World. This was our first trip for which we did not have the nights destination planned before we left home. About 45 minutes outside of Jacksonville, FL, we decided to stay at the Flamingo Lake RV Park. The next day we traveled to Cocoa Beach to visit Pat Whitfield our previous neighbor. On Wednesday morning May 3, avoiding the I-95 closure due to brush fires, we arrived at Fort Wilderness, one of the Disney Resorts. We visited the Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingston, MGM studios, and Epcot, and even caught a performance of Cirque du Soleil. The below fireworks picture is linked to a full resolution copy.

A few of the fireworks pictures are included in the thumbnails. The entire set of fireworks pictures (both the Magic Kingdom and Epcot) are contained in a single executable file called Disney06fireworks.exe. It is the best way to view the fireworks pictures. Click the file name to download this 14 MB file and same it on your computer. Then double click to run the file. You may get a warning about downloading exe files, but I created this file myself and is safe. The exe will only run on a windows machine - sorry Mac users.
