On October 2 and 3, we took our very first solo outing in our RV.  For our first trip we wanted to stay close and made sure the campground had easy access.  The Big Meadow Family Campground in Townsend, TN was our choice.  Click on the link to find out a little more about the campground.  We stopped for diesel at a local "Flying J", and were on our way.  Most of the trip was on the Interstate or 4 lane highways.  We did have to go through the city of Maryville, which was a little tight, and there were a few miles of fairly curved roads just before Townsend.
